Accessibility statement

Our own conformance status.

We sell accessibility audits. It would be indefensible not to publish our own — including what is still outstanding.

Conformance target

WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA. This is the level referenced by EN 301 549 (the harmonised standard behind the European Accessibility Act), the DOJ ADA Title II rule and HHS Section 504.

Current status

Partially conformant. Automated testing of lyraproof.com returns zero Level A or AA violations. However, automated testing reaches only about a third of the success criteria, and our full manual review is not yet complete. We will not claim full conformance until it is.

tool axe-core 4.12.1 in Chromium scope All public pages automated 0 Level A/AA violations · 46 checks passed manual In progress — see known limitations reviewed 27 July 2026

How we test

  • Automated evaluation with axe-core in a real browser engine
  • Keyboard-only traversal of every interactive element
  • Screen-reader review (VoiceOver on macOS)
  • 200% and 400% zoom, checking reflow to a single column at 320px width
  • Form submission with empty and invalid input, checking error announcement

Known limitations

Stated honestly rather than omitted:

  • The full manual screen-reader pass across every page is scheduled and not yet complete. Target: 3 August 2026.
  • The contact form posts to a third-party form handler. We have verified its submission flow, but we do not control that provider's interface.
  • Testing has been performed with VoiceOver on macOS. NVDA on Windows and TalkBack on Android are scheduled but not yet covered.

Feedback

If you encounter a barrier on this site, email sun@lyraproof.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days and will tell you plainly whether and when we intend to fix it.

What this statement is not

This is a technical assessment of our own site, not a certification. No accessibility certification exists in law, and no audit by any provider identifies every barrier.
